All-Church Work Day

8 AM to 4 PM.

To prepare for Easter, we are seeking volunteers to help spruce up the landscaping and making minor repairs and paint touch-ups.

This will be a great time to meet other CBCers and to score some free donuts!

Easter Picnic Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for the Easter picnic on Saturday, April 11.

This is a great opportunity for a home group or Bible study to serve the Body together! Especially during the event, groups without kids are a huge blessing so parents with children can enjoy the picnic with them.

The following opportunities are available:

Set-up (9am-11am)

During picnic (11am-2pm in 1-hour shifts) - serving refreshments, monitoring bounce house, running games, running egg hunts.

Clean-up (2pm-4pm)

Contact Melissa Rowe if you or your group are willing to serve

Re: Fireproof at CBC

The Fireproof showing last Friday had almost 100 people in attendance and kept the popcorn machines busy!

If you didn't get to pick up a copy of the Love Dare Bible Study, they are available for purchase at the Ministry Center (under the stairs).

Technical Difficulties

After being locked out of the website all day, I was able to get in right before 5. Unfortunately, when I got in, all the navigation menus disappeared. Will try to resolve it ASAP.

Christian Book Expo

Check out the website for the Christian Book Expo coming to the Dallas Convention Center, March 19-22. More than 200 authors will be attending, including Max Lucado, Beverly Lewis, and Kevin Leman. All the information about this event is available at http://www.christianbookexpo.org/.

Spring Forward!

March 8 marks the beginning of Daylight-Saving Time. Make sure you advance your clocks one hour at 2 AM to avoid being late for church. What this means for our house is two of our clocks will finally be right again without us having to change anything.

Fireproof Feature Tonight

On the show, 18 Kids and Counting, the movie Fireproof will be featured. The family will be going to the movie and meeting Kirk Cameron.

It's on TLC at 8 PM.

Since CBC will be presenting the film, I thought you might be interested.
