New Director of Children's Ministry

Please help us welcome our new Director of Children's Ministry, Roddy Willis.
It is with great excitement that we announce that Roddy Willis has accepted the offer to join us here at CBC as Director of Children’s Ministries. Roddy comes to us with a great deal of experience in children’s ministries from Hillside Community Church in Keller, Fellowship Church in Grapevine, and Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. He is a graduate of Dallas Seminary and has an undergrad degree in Biblical Studies from Cedarville University(OH). Roddy joined our staff May 18.

Roddy is married to Raven and they are the proud parents of baby Roderick.

Music Camp Registration is Up!

Music Camp is a week-long camp for children in 3rd through 6th grades during which children learn a musical drama that they use to lead a worship service for friends and family on Friday night. In addition at working hard at learning to lead worship, children participate in a small group Bible study daily in which they explore the truths from God's Word that are presented in the musical. They also take time out daily for a fun activity such as bowling, roller skating, watching a movie, visiting a bounce house, or playing games here at CBC.

The Haiti Mission Team Needs Wedding Dresses and Wedding Rings

Our sister church is in Chambellan and we plan to teach a series on marriage to the church and hope to conduct a group wedding for the couples who have not been able to afford a ceremony.

Are we still having services Sunday? Yes!

At this time, all ministries of Crossroads Bible Church will proceed as scheduled, including Sunday services and next week’s events. This includes CBC childcare and children’s ministries.

Crossroads is monitoring the latest developments concerning the H1N1 virus (swine flu) and resulting closure of Lewisville ISD.

God Rocks! Starlight Rescue is a galactic adventure where kids learn that with God’s love in their hearts, they can shine like stars! Our Mission Verse is, "That you may become blameless and pure, children of God...(who) shine like stars in the universe." Philippians 2:15 (NIV) A star gets its light from within, and that light shines out for all to see. When kids recognize the light and power of God within, their lives can shine like stars too!
