Two bounce houses made for a great time for the kids of volunteers. This was my first time to attend the dinner, having volunteered in the elementary kids' Sunday School all year.
Dinner was served by the staff and elders--quite a treat. At the the gift exchange, I managed to steal back a game system (what happened to the $5 limit?) for the great kid at the table next to mine who graciously helped my daughter brave the bounce houses.
It was fun meeting the other volunteers and spending time with my family at a place that cares for them so much. Thanks to the Children's Ministry volunteers who are the reason my kids can't wait to go to church up to four days a week. And thanks to the church for the recognition and the cool T-shirt.
