I'm writing to you because we have a prayer meeting scheduled as a part of the Missions Conference this weekend. It is on Friday evening at 7:00pm.
Many of the missionaries will be in attendance at this meeting. I can not state clearly or powerfully enough how much it matters to our missionaries that we pray for them and with them. When you cross over into another culture, it is so obvious how dependent you are on the Holy Spirit to move in your life and in those you come in contact with.
For the first time, I feel led to invite others to prayerfully consider coming to a prayer meeting. It will be a simple event. We will spend some time worshiping in song and we will pray. Pray for the Lord's work here and all over the world. We will pray for those in our congregation that God has called out to serve beyond our Flower-plex borders.
I would love for us to be there together, praying together.
