Spread the Word CBC for May 14

I'm about to hop in my canoe and head home. Here's what's going on at CBC:

Here's what was noteworthy this week:
CBC Riders headed to Babe's in Roanoke.

Kids Eat Free is gearing up another summer of providing free meals to kids and could use some volunteers.
CBC missionary John McLaughlin needs some host homes for a US collegiate baseball team in Flower Mound from June 5 to June 12 as they prepare to go to Nicaragua this summer.

Pastor Mike Messerli led Small Group Training last Saturday. Expect the Small Groups to grow this year!

Here's what's happening this weekend:
We'll be treated to Billy Grammer at the pulpit on Sunday. The topic is "Don't Let Your Light Shine--Blow it Out!" I'm curious to find out what that means.

Missions Meal Sunday is upon us again! CBC Missions is serving up fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, a roll and dessert. Proceeds will benefit our sister church in Chambellan, Haiti.

Comedy Night and Spaghetti Dinner Benefit for Missionary Robyn Eubanks is Sunday at 5 PM. More information may be found here. Suggested donation: $10/adult; $30/family. If you would like to RSVP, respond to this email with a head count and I will forward it to the appropriate person.

Here's what's coming up next at CBC:
Small Group Training is Saturday, May 8.

MOPS summer Bible study starts May 19. Check it out here and sign up at MOPS.
